Community Engagement
Angel’s Home intends to collaborate actively with the community to run our newly established center for the most marginalized along with addressing issues related to disability. This is in the form of a two-way exchange, through Training and Awareness Events organized by Angel’s Home as well as hosting volunteers to support and extend the programs being implemented within the Centre.

Training and Awareness Events
Awareness events are an important avenue to engage our extended community and society at large. These events have a two-fold purpose: 1) to create awareness about the plight and due rights of persons with disabilities 2) to encourage community members to become more responsive towards persons with disabilities and take action to support them.

Volunteer Engagement
Angel’s Home looks forward to benefiting from the assistance of a large number of volunteers, particularly youth. Local volunteers visit Angel’s Home according to schedules that suit each individual. They may select their areas of interest and expertise to serve the Angel’s Home. Volunteers are encouraged to assist children with disabilities to move in and out of therapy sessions, assist them with exercises, help them with their meals, and spend recreational time with them as well.
